Waiting On The Sun

As the summer draws to a close you'd think that everyone's lives would start slowing down in preperation for a lazy start to the new school year, however that is the complete opposite. On the contrary everyone's lives are picking up at full speed. For my bffs everything is taking off for them. My blonde bff is spending every possible minute with her current bf, while he is preparing to spend every possible minute with her next year at school, seeing as he's transferring from his former school to ours. My other bff is currently trying to make a new connection with a boy who goes to a different school, and things seem to be running really smoothly which is a nice change of pace that she rightfully deserves. All this while I am at home currently trying to finish all of my summer assignments... and looking forward to a small vacation that's taking place this week. I guess it seems that my life is the only one that is slowing down. This summer has been crazy, but well worth it. Now we get to see what the new school year will bring.
